Kathmandu, January 13
The Nepal Rastra Bank says Nepal received Rs 680 billion in remittances from Nepali migrant workers in various countries in the first five months of the current fiscal year (July 17-December 15, 2022).
Compared to the amount received in the same period last fiscal year, this is an increase of 23 per cent.
If you calculate the amount in US dollars, Nepal received USD 3.71 billion in this period, which is a 13.1 per cent growth from the dollar value of the amount received in the same period last year.
